Qmatic, a global leader in reshaping connections between people and services, announced today that David Larsson will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. David will focus on long-term innovation and product strategy, as well as strengthening and growing Qmatic's Partner channel strategy as the company enters its next phase of growth. He succeeds Lars Mellgren, who returns to his previous role as Chief Operating Officer.
David joined Qmatic in January 2024 and has worked closely with Lars and the leadership team over the past months to prepare for this planned transition to carry the company forward. He brings extensive experience from senior executive leadership positions, where he has successfully driven transformation, innovation, and growth. Before joining Qmatic, he served as CEO at several product-driven international tech companies and has a long tenure in leadership roles at Microsoft.
