The InRetail Summit & Exhibition (19th - 22nd October, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE) brought together retail giants from the region and international markets to discuss and debate key threats and opportunities in one of the fastest growing retail markets: Middle East. Qmatic Middle East along with one of their partners in the UAE - Adapt Middle East, participated in the exhibition that ran alongside the summit.

One of the key areas of focus at the summit was 'capitalising on technology innovations to help retailers overcome complex and challenging issues'. As this was Qmatic’s first time at such an event the team wanted to use it to test the waters and see how well received the retail solutions would be. Qmatic exhibited  retail solutions such as QGuide, QNova, Solo Linea and barriers. The biggest interest generator was the customer counting solution - Allegro.

"Every retailer needs to implement customer management systems and the challenge lies in selecting which solutions are best suited to the individual retailer as they each have their own set of objectives and specific requirements. Being able to touch/feel our solutions, the visiting retailers had a change to identify and evaluate technologies so that retailers can streamline efficiencies, add to the consumer experience and build brand loyalty whilst optimising store performances to increase overall profitability," said Ram Mohan, Business Development Manager, Adapt Middle East.
